Your information, handled with care.

This site is operated for The Resilient Author, hosted by Kary Youman. This page explains what we collect through our forms and how it is used. It is a plain-language summary and should be reviewed by the site owner (and legal counsel, if appropriate) before launch.

What we collect

When you submit the guest application form, we receive the details you enter: your name, email address, book information, links, and the messages you write. We also receive limited technical information needed to deliver and protect the form, such as your IP address (used for abuse prevention).

How we use it

We use your information only to read and respond to your inquiry, and to consider you for the podcast. We do not sell your information. Appearing on the podcast is free, and guest selection is editorial.

Who processes it

Form submissions are delivered to us by email through a transactional email provider. If bot protection is enabled, forms also use Cloudflare Turnstile to tell people from automated programs. Podcast audio and video may be hosted by third-party platforms such as Apple Podcasts and YouTube, which have their own privacy policies.

Cookies and analytics

This site does not use advertising cookies or tracking pixels. If analytics are added in the future, this page will be updated.

Retention and your choices

We keep inquiries for as long as needed to respond and manage future conversations. You may ask us to access, correct, or delete your information at any time through the contact page.
