Welcome to Season 2 of The Resilient Author
Before we begin, I wanted to take a few minutes to reintroduce myself and share why this podcast matters so much to me.
I'm Kary Youman, a TEDx speaker, author of two published books, and the creator of Speak Your Book, a process I've used to help others turn their ideas and experiences into published books.
Much of this work began when I helped my father get his story onto paper before he passed away. Combined with my own years of struggling to turn ideas into written words, that experience changed how I approached writing and storytelling.
What's changing in Season 2?
This season, I'm moving from primarily interviewing authors to sharing shorter, more personal solo episodes.
We'll explore how to find the stories worth telling, understand what we've learned from our experiences, and begin putting those stories into words.
I'll also be sharing the process of writing my third book, Sober 3000: Think Eight Years Ahead. Live One Day at a Time.
Each episode will include a question to reflect on and a simple practice you can try.
